Love the music of New Orleans, and since Ellucian Live was there this year seemed like the perfect opportunity to celebrate it. The woodcut illustration on the cover comes from an article I illustrated for the Washington Post.

It was a lot of fun designing a variety of materials for my son Justin’s nuptials. It also gave Renee a chance to pull out her watercolor brushes again. We ended up finding other uses for some of the “rejected” original invitation design options (hence the mixed branding). It was a fantastic event, although I may be a bit biased…
I dug out one of my illustrations from the archive to commemorate opening day for the Nationals and Orioles (a sure sign of spring). This colored pencil drawing was done for a promotional postcard series for Streetworks Studio, our design and illustration business. Let’s hope we can finally put winter behind us once and for all this year. Play ball!
